We're Here to Listen to you.
We founded Spectrum Behavioral Care to provide personalized care, guidance and peace of mind to kids and families in need, our experience, professionalism, dedication and insurmountable LOVE for our kids and families is what set us apart.
We offer unique, personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and therapy to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, neurological, and other developmental disorders.
Our approach is anchored on the strong belief that “A brighter future begins with a healthy mind”.
We Set Real Goals. We Apply every Real Tool Available. We Achieve Real Progress.
At Spectrum Behavioral Care, we offer personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and therapy aimed at addressing, and improve a wide range of behavioral challenges. Our team of skilled, and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts, and Registered Behavior Technicians tirelessly provide unique, and personalized care to our kids and support their families to ensure successful mastery of important skills.
We help our children understand body languages, gestures, facial expressions, eye contact, taking turns in conversations, focusing, listening and speaking, using the appropriate volume, speed, intonation and body distance.
We work tirelessly with our children to help in the process by which they acquire the capacity to perceive and comprehend language, in other words, gain the ability to be aware of language and to understand it, as well as to produce and use words and sentences to communicate.
We apply techniques that help our children with Sensory Processing, developing new sensory messages and turning them into responses. These senses include sight (vision), sound (auditory), touch (tactile), taste (gustatory), body position (proprioception) and movement (vestibular).
We also apply techniques that help our children with Self-stimulatory behaviors, those repetitive or unusual body movement or noises, hand and finger mannerisms for example, finger-flicking and hand-flapping. unusual body movements for example, rocking back and forth while sitting or standing.
Self-injurious behavior (SIB) involves the occurrence of behaviors that could result in physical injury to the child’s body. We analyze, and apply specific behavioral techniques that help our kids reduce these types of behaviors.
We work with our kids to help them develop and improve skills like getting up and going to bed, dressing and grooming, bathing and toileting, mobility assistance, or help to transfer from one position to another, and many others too.
We love our kids and families, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
